Charlottenlund Fort, originally Charlottenlund Battery, was build during the years 
1886 to 1888  at the coast below the Charlottenlund Castle.
The Fort was part of the line of naval forts, that were supposed to protect Copenhagen form attacks form the seaside.
From Charlottenlund it is possible to see the two other naval forts, the Flak Fort and the Middelgrund Fort.
