The Fortifications of Copenhagen
The Naval Forts and Coastal Batteries i the Third Defence Line.

Copenhagen got a coastal defence line of three lines

The third and outer line consisted of:

The coastal fort "Taarbaek Fort"
The coastal fort "Flak Fort"
The coastal batteries "Barakke Battery" and "Saltholms Battery"
The coastal fort "Dragoer Fort"
The coastal battery "Kongelunds Batt
ery" (Later mentioned as a fort)
The coastal battery "Mosede Battery" (Later mentioned as a fort)

The Taarbaek Fort. Aften the Fort was given up, it was covered by
300 000 tons of earth. History disapeared forever.
